No Steelers player took home any hardware from the NFL Honors awards, but former Pitt star Aaron Donald was named the 2017 NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
Donald is the first defensive tackle to take home that award since 1999.
Alan Faneca missed out on the Hall of Fame for the third straight year. Those inducted in their first year of eligibility include Ray Lewis, Brian Urlacher, and Randy Moss. Also voted in were Terrell Owens and Brian Dawkins.
Jerry Kramer and Robert Brazile were the senior inductees.

Not to be outdone, former Steelers offensive lineman Alan Faneca is a finalist for the Pro Football Hall of Fame class for 2018.
Faneca, in his third year of eligibility, is among the 15 modern-era finalists for the third time. A six-time All-Pro guard, Faneca played with the Steelers from 1998 to 2007 – winning Super Bowl 40 with the team in 2006.
