PITTSBURGH - The saying, “It’s better to give than to receive” gets used a lot this time of year. Steelers’ wide receiver Antonio Brown is definitely in a giving mood.
On Friday, Brown delivered a check for $100,000 to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.
Business is "boomin'" for AB, and he’s sharing some of that success with children who need it most.
Gratitude ! Fortunate to have the opportunity to play the game that I love and grateful it affords me the chance to give back !! Take this time of the year to reflect - appreciate your successes and learn and grow from your failures. Most importantly, help - however you can, and #callGod !! Be the best version of yourself every day Happy holidays to the @childrenspgh ! Love, 🆎 🙏🏾🙏🏾
According to ESPN, Brown told reporters, "I usually take [my kids] to the children's hospital to show them how blessed they are and to let them know not everyone is as fortunate. ... Spreading my love and extending my hand is what life's all about."
