PITTSBURGH — The Steelers are looking to turn the page after their Week 2 loss to the Patriots and are turning their attention toward their first divisional game of the year.

This week will be the biggest test the Steelers’ defense has faced so far this season.
The 2-0 Cincinnati Bengals come to town with that high-flying offense led by quarterback Joe Burrow.
Under new defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, the Steelers defense has impressed through their first two games.
The unit has allowed just two touchdowns. They’re currently second in the league in sacks and second in interceptions.

But anytime Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins come to town, the need to limit explosive plays becomes heightened.
Channel 11 Sports Director Jenna Harner asked Cam Heyward what specifically makes Burrow such a challenge to defend.

“He keeps his eyes downfield,” the defensive lineman said. “He’s able to extend plays. He’s almost like a magician with the ball, you know. And he knows how to deliver big plays to you know his wide receivers. He gives them a chance, you know. Ja’Marr and Tee. They do a great job just asking for the ball, and Joe’s like, ‘I’m gonna get you the ball.’ But you know, it’s always special play against Joe because he is going to stretch you with his feet.”

Heyward tells us part of the recipe to win against Cincinnati is stopping the run. And he knows the challenge ahead, but tells us they’re really looking forward to that challenge.
