Kris Letang will captain Metropolitan Division at NHL All-Star Game.

It’s been a great year for Pittsburgh Penguins defenseman Kris Letang, and it’s about to get better with the announcement that he will captain the Metropolitan Division at the 2020 NHL All-Star Game.

Letang was selected to the All-Star team along with goalie Tristan Jarry. Jake Guentzel was also selected but will not play due to an injury.

All-Star weekend is taking place Jan. 24-25 in St. Louis. The skills competition will take place Friday night and be broadcast on NBCSN. You can watch the All-Star game itself Saturday at 8 p.m. on WPXI.
