Jostens plugged nearly 400 diamonds totaling more than nine carats into each 14-karat white and yellow gold ring, the team said.
"We are proud of what (the players) accomplished and proud of what they mean to our city," team president David Morehouse said. "The ring is a lasting tribute to their season of excellence."
The Penguins logo anchors the top of the ring, with a pear-shaped diamond in the penguin's torso and a number "5" creating its eye, for the franchise's five Stanley Cup victories.
The interior of the ring is engraved with the team motto, "Play the right way," as well as the records of the four playoff series and with the opponents the Penguins faced.
