Penguins to share hotel with Flyers, Capitals

PITTSBURGH — The NHL on Thursday night released the hotel assignments for the 24 teams participating in the qualifying round.

Players will all have their own rooms, and each team will have its own floor in the hotel.

The Eastern Conference teams will be staying in two Toronto hotels -- Hotel X and Royal York.

The Penguins will be staying in Hotel X, along with the Flyers, Capitals, Bruins, and Lightning.

Hotel X is less than 10 minutes away from Scotiabank Arena, where the games will be taking place. It’s not clear if players will have access to the hotel’s amenities, which include eight squash courts, a spin studio, four indoor tennis courts, a pilates studio and a hot yoga studio, a Topgolf Swing Suite, a rooftop pool and a movie screening room.
