PITTSBURGH — On the ice, Patric Hornqvist and Jake Guentzel are teammates. Off the ice, they compete against each other -- Mario Kart-style!
Hornqvist and Guentzel recently traded in their Penguins uniforms for Mario and Luigi costumes. And instead of using ice skates, they got around on “teeny tiny” tricycles.
With Hornqvist dressed as Luigi and Guentzel as Mario, the two raced around a parking lot … doing their best to avoid spinning out on a banana.
