PITTSBURGH — We’re the best! At least, according to Forbes. The company ranked Pittsburgh Penguins fans No. 1 in the NHL in its “Best Fans 2019” ratings.

This marked the third time since Forbes started the ratings in 2009 that Penguins fans were ranked at the top of the league.
“Our fans are amazing, and they’ve always been No. 1 in our eyes,” said David Morehouse, president and CEO of the Penguins.
Forbes said it takes into account local television ratings, attendance, secondary ticket demand, merchandise sales and social media reach.
