The sales and events intern will support the day-to-day activities of the sales and events team. They will have opportunity to be creative, grow professionally and learn valuable professional skills outside the classroom. They will work 15 hours per week and be paid minimum wage.
- Attend sales meetings to learn and understand the business.
- Work with digital sales team to learn and understand digital.
- Work with sales associates to learn and understand order entry and traffic system.
- Attend client meetings and shadow account executives and managers.
- Attend and help with station and community events.
- Attend and help with client events.
- Learn about station sponsorships.
- Work with other departments to have a full understanding of TV station. In some cases, this intern will work with the production and digital content teams.
Must be a junior or senior in college.
Must have transportation and be available on weekends.
