Pittsburgh's motor speedway is officially called Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. The speedway was opened in 1979 after the original speedway in Scott Township was closed down. Today, the track is owned and operated by Miley Motorsports. It features a .625 semi-banked oval track with a clay surface, and the stadium's bleacher-style grandstand can seat up to 10,000 fans.

Events
From the month of May through October, the speedway regularly hosts several different racing divisions, including:
- Diehl Automotive Super Late Models — The fastest form of stock car racing
- Precise Racing Products RUSH Dirt Late Model Series — Featuring cars that are similar to Super Late Models with an average speed of 110 miles per hour
- Sunoco Race Fuels Sportsman — Typically 1970s-era lodge cars with speeds averaging 100 miles per hour
- Miley Truck Rental Hobby Stocks — Entry-level street cars with added safety measures
- Imperial Heights Garage Young Guns — Entry-level class designed for beginner drivers ages 13 and up. Typically with four-cylinder, front-wheel-drive cars
In addition to the regular races, the track also hosts a series of special events throughout the year that include the All-Star Circuit of Champion Sprints and Zimmer's Service Center United Late Model Series.

Hours and Tickets
Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway opens at 5 p.m. on race days, and racing starts at 7 p.m., with hot laps beginning at 6 p.m.
Race tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Ticket prices vary depending on the event.

Parking:
There is an open lot in a field outside the track for fans to park. Parking at the speedway is free for most events. Tailgating is allowed before events in the lot.
Speedway Camping and Accommodations:
Overnight camping is permitted during most Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway events. Campers and RVs are allowed to park overnight on the outskirts of the main grandstand's parking lot. All campers/RVs must be registered in advance. In order to camp at the speedway a $50 camping permit must be purchased at the track's main office located at Turn Four under the main grandstand. If campers are not registered there is a $75 fine. Tents are not permitted on-site.
The official hotel of the Pittsburgh Motor Speedway is the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport — its located only a few miles from the track at 1160 Thorn Run Road in Coraopolis. Nightly rates vary.
