Perfect weather, peak fall color for Halloween

PITTSBURGH — Whether you are putting the finishing touches on costumes or planning your autumn drives, the weather will cooperate this weekend.

Peak fall color is here, and it will be dry on both Saturday and Sunday with a mix of clouds and sun. Temperatures will climb back into the low 60s during the day Saturday and then slowly fall through the evening as kids are trick-or-treating. While some kids may want an extra layer under their costumes, they won’t need the heavy winter coats.

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back one hour before heading to bed Saturday night as Daylight Saving Time ends and enjoy that extra hour of sleep!

Steelers Sunday will also be dry, though we will see a few more clouds filtering into the sky.

Another warm-up arrives early next week, sending temperatures well above average for early November. Enjoy the dry stretch while it lasts, because our first real rain chances in more than two weeks arrive by mid-week.
