PITTSBURGH — Showers and storms will impact your outdoor plans Friday, especially after lunch through the evening.

Some storms could be strong to severe with damaging winds and heavy downpours-so check with Severe Weather Team 11 before you head outdoors.

A couple of rounds of scattered storms will be possible-starting early afternoon to our west, then moving through Pittsburgh, Butler and Greensburg through the evening. Heavy downpours and damaging winds are possible with any storm, as well as frequent lightning.

A refreshing change will be felt this weekend, as cooler, less humid air filters in. It will be much more comfortable overnight, and high temperatures Sunday may not make it out of the 60s.
