Spotty showers and a few downpours remain possible this evening, mainly south of Pittsburgh.
A cold front is sliding through the area, which will allow cooler and less humid air to settle in overnight. Watch for areas of fog Tuesday morning, some of which could be dense north and east of the city.
It will feel much more comfortable Tuesday afternoon with a mix of clouds and sun and highs very close to average for mid-August. Enjoy it!
The next round of scattered showers will push in Wednesday afternoon with off-and-on rain through Wednesday night and early Thursday, mainly south and east of Pittsburgh. Severe weather is not expected, but any repeated rain could raise concern for localized flooding.
We’ll get another nice break from the rain and humidity Friday, but scattered storms will be back both Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
