Sunshine sticks around Wednesday, high temperatures will be in low 50s

PITTSBURGH — Our stretch of great weather sticks around for the busiest travel day of the year but travel back home after Thanksgiving could be slow.

Sunshine and seasonal temperatures will set the stage for a smooth ride into or out of Pittsburgh Wednesday with highs pushing back into the low 50s.

Thanksgiving day will also be great, but plan for a chilly start if you’re headed out for an early run or to a Turkey Bowl.

The next system will bring a few rounds of wet weather to the area, with the first impacting your Black Friday shopping plans then a break in the rain expected on Saturday. If you’re hoping to do some outdoor holiday decorating, try to do it Saturday because another round, steadier rain is possible Sunday.
