PITTSBURGH — Light to moderate rain continues across much of the area this morning. Watch for flooding of low-lying areas and near creeks and streams, especially north and west of Pittsburgh where a Flood Warning is in effect.
Rain will transition to showers with some lulls expected around midday. Additional showers and potentially gusty t-storms will develop late this afternoon and evening, with the highest potential being from Pittsburgh points south.
Thursday and Friday will feature a few or isolated showers but with plenty of dry time in between. The weekend will start off very warm and mostly dry with highs near 80 degrees. Showers become more likely as the next cold front slides through Sunday.
Stay with Severe Weather Team 11 through the weekend as we track additional rounds of rain.
