Allegheny County police seek public's help to ID bank robber

CRAFTON, Pa. — The Allegheny County Police General Investigations Unit and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are seeking the public’s help in identifying the man accused of robbing a bank Monday morning in the Crafton/Ingram Shopping Center.

At approximately 9:57 a.m., a man entered the Dollar Bank located at 45 Walsh Road in the Crafton/Ingram Shopping Center. He approached a teller stating, “I have a gun,” before passing a note demanding money, police said.

The robber is described as a black man with a stocky build. He is approximately 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and about 30 to 40 years of age. He was wearing a black T-shirt, cut-off blue jeans, sunglasses, a tan Pitt Panther baseball cap and black sneakers with white trim.%

Police said the man was last seen entering a newer model white Dodge Charger, which fled west onto Steubenville Pike.
