NEW BEAVER BOROUGH, Pa. — An ATV rider was taken to the hospital after a crash involving two other vehicles.
The ATV tried to cross Route 168 near Beaver Dam Road in New Beaver Borough, Lawrence County around 8:30 a.m. Thursday when it was struck by a vehicle, police said.
A third vehicle tried to avoid the crash and bumped into a nearby house causing minor damage.
None of the people in the cars was injured, police said.
Police identified the ATV rider as Robert McCready, 63, of New Galilee. He was unconscious when he was taken to the hospital by ambulance. Medical helicopters were unable to fly due to fog.
Investigators said it was extremely foggy in the area at the time of the accident.
McCready was not wearing a helmet, according to police.
