PITTSBURGH — A Bronze Alert that was issued Saturday evening at Magee-Women’s Hospital was quickly canceled.
The alert was sent out to staff shortly before 9:30 p.m. after a report of a person with a weapon outside of the hospital, according to officials.
A person that was in possession of a BB gun was taken into custody by police.
Hospital officials told Channel 11 the alert was sent out as a precaution.
