Canadian cannabis company Ayr Wellness opens dispensary in Gibsonia

PITTSBURGH — A Toronto-based medical cannabis company has opened a medical dispensary in the northern Pittsburgh suburb of Gibsonia.

The Ayr Wellness dispensary is owned by CannTechPA, which is a division of Ayr Wellness (CSE: AYR.A, OTC: AYRWF). It’s an 8,000-square-foot location at 112 Northtowne Square that used to be a King’s Restaurant, has 30 point-of-sale stations and will have about 20 people working there.

“We’re excited to introduce our high-quality product offerings, headlined by our recently launched Revel premium flower, to the underserved medical patients of Gibsonia and the broader northern Pittsburgh suburbs,” said Ayr CEO Jonathan Sandelman in a statement.
