Dick’s has seen some controversy in recent years. In 2018, after the deadly shooting at a high school in Parkland, Florida, Dick’s stopped selling semi-automatic assault-style rifles, as well as high-capacity magazines. The company also stopped selling weapons to customers under the age of 21.
