PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh-based Duolingo is supporting Vice President Kamala Harris’ Call to Action, an initiative where 12 private companies and social enterprises made commitments to address the root causes of migration by promoting economic opportunity in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, also known as the Northern Triangle.
“As an immigrant from Guatemala who became an American citizen, I am honored to be called upon to help and it’s a privilege to be able to contribute,” Luis von Ahn, CEO and co-founder, wrote on Duolingo’s blog.
