Monongahela Valley Hospital to become part of Penn Highlands Healthcare

Hospital Bed Monongahela Valley Hospital in Washington County will become affiliated with Penn Highlands Healthcare, a six-hospital system based in DuBois.

MONONGAHELA, Pa. — Monongahela Valley Hospital in Washington County will become affiliated with Penn Highlands Healthcare, a six-hospital system based in DuBois.

Mon Valley Hospital and Penn Highlands have signed a definitive affiliation agreement that is expected to be in place in the third quarter after regulatory approval. Financial terms of the agreement weren’t announced.

The hospital said in a statement that it believes Penn Highlands will be a partner for its future.
