New local franchise operator set to bring The Halal Guys restaurants to Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — Well experienced in setting up new franchise restaurants for such chains as Panera Bread and Chipotle, Erik Mansmann knows well the challenges of scheduling a restaurant opening date these days.

“I have managers hired that have TBD as their start date,” said Mansmann, the director of operations for 3E Franchise, LLC, a new local franchise group.

He added, “I like to under-commit and over-deliver.”

While an exact opening date for his next restaurant is still to be determined, Mansmann’s company is all in on bringing the first three restaurants of The Halal Guys to Pittsburgh, with the locations in the city all in the works in Oakland, East Liberty and the South Side.
