One of Pittsburgh’s highest-paid CEOs gains $3M in stock sale

PITTSBURGH — One of Pittsburgh’s highest paid executives realized more than $3 million from selling stock following his company’s record second quarter.

Dicks Sporting Goods Inc.'s chairman and CEO Edward Stack sold 59,299 shares of the Findlay Township-based retailer’s stock, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Stack’s shares were sold at an average price of $57.55, for a total of about $3.4 million. The transaction occurred on Sept. 10.
