PITTSBURGH — POISE Foundation announced the launch of its newest grant-making program, which is being made available to Black-led and Black-serving organizations and movements.
The grants will be offered based on two categories: rapid response mini-grants and racial equity seed grants.
Rapid response mini-grants will provide financial support of up to $2,500 for Black-led, Black-serving organizations and movements that are responding directly on the front lines of the Covid-19 pandemic which POISE said is significantly impacting Allegheny County's Black community.
Racial equity seed grants of up to $5,000 will be provided to Black-led, Black-serving organizations that are providing programming for youth leadership development training and opportunities.
