PITTSBURGH — As he works toward debuting Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc.’s new outdoor recreation store in Cranberry Township in September, Todd Spaletto is as interested in talking about what customers will be able do in the new Public Lands store as what they can buy.
It’s a conversation that starts with noting how the company’s first Public Lands store will be outfitted with a climbing wall. Spaletto, who started with Dick’s to roll out the new retail concept last December, indicated the climbing wall will be twice the size of the ones at Dick’s new House of Sport stores.

The new climbing wall will be available for customers to climb on as well as to try new shoes.
