U.S. Steel names new senior Vice President and chief commercial officer

PITTSBURGH — United States Steel Corp. (NYSE: X) named Kenneth Jaycox senior vice president and chief commercial officer, according to a news release.

Jaycox will fill the position when Douglas Matthews retires in January 2021.

“We are building a more customer focused company with our ‘best of both’ strategy, and now it’s time to take it to the next level with Ken at the lead,” U.S. Steel President and CEO David Burritt said in a prepared statement. “With his deep commercial, operating and transformation experience, he brings new insights to accelerate our capabilities.”
