Carmichaels native Brynn Marie to release country single on Valentine's Day

CARMICHAELS, Pa.,None — The country music field is crowded with singers who want to make it big. Starting next week, a Pittsburgh area singer is making a big push to stand apart from the pack.

Brynn Marie is from Carmichaels, Greene County, but is making waves now in Nashville. Brynn Marie will release her first single on Valentine's Day, "Bandaid On A Bullet Hole."

However, there's more to this release than just making a song available on i-Tunes. Brynn Marie wanted to make sure that all of her fans across the country and right here in Pittsburgh could be a part of the event, so she decided to host a live internet streaming performance on Monday night, the night before "Bandaid On A Bullet Hole" is released.

Brynn Marie talked with See & Be Seen about the release, saying, "I'm looking forward to the first time hearing it on the radio. I get goosebumps just thinking about it! Hopefully fans embrace me and love my music."

The music video for "Bandaid On A Bullet Hole" won't be far behind. It features members of the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders (don't worry, Brynn is still very much a Steelers fan). The video, directed by Jeff Johnson who has directed videos for Keith Urban and Billy Currington, will be released next month.

In the meantime, fans can get the first listen to "Bandaid On A Bullet Hole" and other songs that will be on Brynn Marie's upcoming EP "Things Change" by tuning in to Ustream.tv on Monday night, Feb. 13th at 9:00 p.m. It will include live acoustic performances, a Q&A session and prize giveaways.

As far as what to expect from the song, Brynn Marie said, "Bandaid is an upbeat song that you can totally dance to. It has a rock/pop feel with all the country elements. It's unique! I love it, because it's me."

Brynn Marie, originally from Carmichaels, PA, recently appeared in the CMA Country Weekly Fashion Show and has opened for LeAnn Rimes, Jake Owen, Loretta Lynn and many others. She also headlined two overseas Armed Forces Entertainment tours that took her to the Middle East as well as Puerto Rico.
