PITTSBURGH,None — The city of Pittsburgh receives its Easter blessing Saturday.
Bishop David Zubik presided over the ceremony on Mount Washington.
A sergeant from the Salvation Army had the honor of spreading holy water from high above the three rivers.
And bishop Zubik's busy schedule continues for Easter Sunday.
In addition to celebrating Easter mass the bishop will lead a special blessing of the families at Saint Paul Cathedral in Pittsburgh Sunday afternoon.
The ceremony will start at 2 p.m.
