Dozens hurt at Stage AE concert; Some trampled in rush to stage

Emergency crews were called to the Austin Mahone concert on the North Shore Tuesday night after dozens either suffered from heat exhaustion or were trampled when the crowd rushed the stage.
There were thousands of fans at the venue for pop star’s performance.
Emergency dispatchers told Channel 11 News that several of those people were hurt when others pushed their way to get close to the stage.
“My ankle was stepped on. It was, like, really bad. I got carried out of the place and started crying because I couldn’t breathe. My cousin couldn’t breathe,” said Kaylee Paglialonga.
According to Pittsburgh police spokeswoman Sonya Toler, there was a “heat exhaustion problem.”
Toler said 38 people were treated at the concert and eight of them were transported to an area hospital.
