Driving lesson goes wrong, ends in pool

MONTGOMERY VILLAGE, Md. — It was a driving lesson that ended in a splash.

Authorities in Maryland say a driving lesson went off the deep end when a car jumped a curb and landed in a community swimming pool.

It happened Saturday afternoon, when rescue crews say one person was giving driving lessons to another person.

The driver and passenger weren't hurt in the mishap.

Fortunately, the pool was closed for the season.
