Uniontown, PA,None — 84 Lumber and the company owner, Joe Hardy, were bilked of $250,000 after an employee tampered with the amount of money he was paid, said officials.
Channel 11 news partner, the Herald-Standard, reports that 62-year-old Nicholas James Judi of Uniontown was a pilot for the company and managed the airport at Hardy's Nemacolin Woodlands Resort.
After a three year investigation, police arrested Ludi last week on theft, corruption and other charges.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 20.
