PITTSBURGH,None — Police have charged two men accused of selling drugs from a vehicle in Pittsburgh's West End on Friday.
Police were called to McKnight Street after reports of drug activity at about 5 p.m.
Jermaine Titus, 27, of Homestead, and James Owens, 26, of Beltzhoover, were both in the car, police said. During a search of the vehicle, police said they found 92 stamp bags of heroin, marijuana and about $2,000 in cash.
"It really doesn't discriminate. It can be very well off people, all the way down to the poorer neighborhoods. It's very addictive and it seems right now with the kids it's the in thing," said a vice and narcotics detective.
Titus and Owens were charged with multiple counts of narcotics violations and criminal conspiracy.
Both are being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
