According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the 32-year-old woman was a recent prison parolee and was driving the wrong way on interstate 15 when they tried to arrest her.

That's when she took off, leading police on a high speed chase.

At one point, a trooper was able to hit the back of the woman's vehicle causing it to rollover.

Police say the suspect ran and then tried to highjack another car. She was eventually apprehended and arrested.

Sgt. Todd Royce said of the suspect, "She was a small girl, about 100 pounds and it took five troopers to get her into custody. We're unsure of what drugs she was on but we believe it was drugs and possibly some mental issues."
