The school in Paris will train people to fight with light sabers.
The popularity of Star Wars and the upcoming movie has sparked new interest in all things Star Wars, including light saber fighting.
A reporter for one French network said it's not just fun and games. It's quite demanding, a mix between fencing and Kendo, a martial arts discipline with swords. The object of the competition is to not hit one's opponent, even though the saber doesn't have a real laser beam.
Students and teachers are serious about the training.
