PITTSBURGH,None — A West Deer piano teacher will spend four years on probation and register as a sex offender for molesting two girls, aged 9 and 11, while giving them lessons in their home.
Allegheny County prosecutors sid Stephen Grice, 66, inappropriately touched the girls during lessons in 2009 and 2010. The girls' parents were home at the time, but in other rooms while Grice instructed the girls.
The girls told their parents who contacted police. After the girls repeated their claims in separate interviews with investigators, police arrested Grice, who confessed to the conduct.
Grice's defense attorney, Peter Skeel, declined comment on Monday's guilty plea to charges of indecent assault and corruption of minors.
Police reviewed Grice's 25 other students, but turned up no similar complaints.
