Male found shot to death in vehicle in Stanton Heights, victim identified

PITTSBURGH — One person was found dead inside a vehicle in Pittsburgh’s Stanton Heights neighborhood Sunday night.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, police were called to the 900 block of Millerdale Street following reports of multiple shots fired just before 11:45 p.m.

Officers found a male with multiple gunshot wounds inside a vehicle. He was pronounced dead by medics at the scene.

The Allegheny County Medical Examiner has identified the man as 21-year-old Jared Lamont Goodwine from Pittsburgh.

Violent Crime Unit detectives are investigating.
