2 armed men rob West Brownsville Walmart prompting nearby schools lockdown

WEST BROWNSVILLE, Pa. — Police in Washington County said two armed men robbed a Walmart in West Brownsville, prompting a lockdown at a local school district.

According to investigators, the men are described as white, each about 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds.

One man is said to be wearing a tan winter coat with a hood and the other is wearing a bright green hooded sweatshirt with white lettering.

State police said the men may be traveling in a white Ford Explorer with tinted windows and a sunroof.

Nearby California School District was placed on lockdown while police searched for the suspects. The lockdown has since been lifted.
