Two Allegheny County stores sold top-prize-winning scratch-off tickets.
The Pennsylvania Lottery says a winning $500,000 a Year for Life scratch-off was sold at a BP on East Warrington Avenue in Pittsburgh. The ticket is a $20 game that offers a top prize of $500,000 a year for life or a cash option of $7.25 million, less applicable withholding.
The other big winner, A $1 million-winning GAME SHOW EXPERIENCE scratch-off, was sold at Bellevue Tobacco & News LLC.
Each store earns a bonus for selling the winning tickets.
Scratch-off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date. Winners should immediately sign the back of their ticket and call the Pennsylvania Lottery at 1-800-692-7481.
All scratch-off games are distributed at random. Lottery employees and retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold.
