PITTSBURGH — The New England Patriots now have four Super Bowl titles in 14 years, but what could their Sunday night win over the Seahawks mean for the Steelers?
Well, the Super Bowl champion gets the honor of hosting the next season's NFL opener, and word from NFL.com is that the Steelers are in the discussion to play the Pats in that game.
Nothing official yet - far from it, but that would be a Thursday night game in Foxboro on Sept 10. The NFL Kickoff is also carried by NBC Sports.
The NFL schedule will be announced early in the spring.
