SOUTH STRABANE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Three months after his death, the slaying of a man who attempted to stop a bank robber from fleeing remains unsolved.
It has been three months since Vincent Kelley stopped at a South Strabane Giant Eagle and never returned to his family. Police said Kelley was shot and killed on June 16 while trying to stop a man who robbed a bank inside the store.
Kelley’s family held a vigil Monday night to remember their loved one and encourage anyone with information to come forward.
A $50,000 reward is being offered to anyone with information.
Surveillance images from the Citizens Bank show the robber wearing a straw hat. Police said the man fled the scene in a white sedan.
