Construction begins for new Kennywood ride ‘Spinvasion’

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Construction is underway for a new ride at Kennywood.

According to the park, Spinvasion is a multi-action spin ride and the first of its kind in the United States.

Park crews unloaded materials onto the construction site on Thursday. Over the next weeks, the ride will be build from the ground up.

Park goers can watch the construction progress starting on April 22, which is opening day.
