UPPER ST. CLAIR, Pa. — The Upper St. Clair School District has approved new start times for students.
Going forward, high school will start at 8 a.m., elementary school will start at 8:35 a.m. and middle school will start at 8:55 a.m.

The district said the change is “based on a growing body of scientific evidence that supports the importance of adequate sleep for the overall well-being and academic success of students.”
The new start times will go into effect at the beginning of the 2023-24 school year.
