Armstrong School District will return to its normal schedule after a reported threat this week.

The “threat of violence” was reported through the Safe2Say system, the district announced late Thursday night. Law enforcement was informed and began investigating.

Out of caution, Armstrong Junior-Senior High School had a Flexible Instruction Day Friday.

In the morning, the district announced that the “police situation” didn’t occur on school property, and only the junior-senior high school was impacted.

Law enforcement determined that the situation “has been resolved,” and there is no threat to the school.

The district says Friday night’s football game will continue, and school will happen as normal Monday.
