NEW STANTON, Pa. — Police announced the arrest of one person accused of being part of a group that brutally beat a man at a Westmoreland County hotel last month.
Authorities said Malcolm "Gunner" Shephard was with a group of people who attacked a man at the Howard Johnson's in New Stanton.
According to police, the man was set up by a woman he was with in the hotel room. She allegedly let the other men in to rob him.
Detectives said they found Shephard at the Budget Inn in New Stanton.
