Bayer not renewing lighted billboard lease

PITTSBURGH — Bayer is not renewing its lighted billboard lease.

The sign has lit up the Mt. Washington hillside for the past 21 years.

Bayer has asked Lamar Advertising to turn off the aging lighted sign "as quickly as they can," according to our newspaper exchange partner TribLive.

Scenic Pittsburgh is now asking for the public's input on what should happen to the sign.
