Bomb squad: Suspicious object in Fayette County was commercial grade firework

UNIONTOWN, Pa. — The bomb squad was called after someone reported a suspicious object on a Fayette County street Sunday night.

Uniontown police said the bomb squad determined the object on Pershing Court was a commercial grade firework. It was removed from the area, and no injuries were reported.

Authorities haven’t said if any charges will be filed.
