Bomb threat called into Hempfield Giant Eagle

HEMPFIELD, Pa. — A bomb threat was reported late Friday afternoon at the Giant Eagle in Hempfield Township.

State police said the threat was phoned in around 5 p.m. Friday to the Giant Eagle at Hempfield Square.

Authorities said the store is closed while the bomb squad investigates.
