MILL RUN, Pa. — A little boy flown to a Pittsburgh hospital after a swimming accident at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park was back at camp today less than a day after the incident.
A manager at the camp in Fayette County told Channel 11 she couldn’t elaborate on the boy’s injuries or his age, citing privacy issues.

But Tracy Czambel did say that officials at the facility followed protocol when sending the boy to the hospital.
“We have a full set of procedures that were followed to a T, which is why they sent him off for precautionary methods,” she said.
Czambel also said she’s glad the little boy is doing well after the accident, although she wouldn’t elaborate on the nature of the accident.
“He’s back today bubbly and can’t wait to meet Yogi,” she said.
Channel 11 also talked to a mother who is staying at the facility who said she’s glad there’s a solid plan in place for when accidents happen.
“We don’t know where the closest hospital is to here either,” said Kim Minto.
The incident happened just after 5 p.m. on Monday.
