LAWRENCE COUNTY, Pa. — Emergency dispatchers tell Channel 11 News that a woman who went missing in McConnells Mill State Park in Lawrence County Thursday night has been found safe.
Dispatchers made contact with the girl around 9 p.m. and found her just before 11 p.m. near the Slippery Rock Gorge Trail, according to McConnells Mill State Park Assistant Manager Jake Weiland.

Weiland said the woman, who he identified as Lindsay Dickie, of Valencia, called for help around 7 p.m. after she sprained her ankle while hiking alone in the park.
She said she became disoriented in the park after nightfall, Weiland said.
Paramedics at the scene evaluated her sprained ankle and checked her for possible hypothermia, the assistant park manager said.
